Bootcamp
A Military style, athletic endurance training class which incorporates plyometrics, calisthenics and athletic style drills into a fun and energetic group training class. Extremely effective for weight loss, toning, agility training and endurance training for all types of athletes. Currently available for beginners on Saturdays at 7:45 am. And starting in November, a class for more experienced individuals on Tuesdays at 7 pm.

Group Classes
Personal training group classes which incorporate abdominals and one other muscle group in a one-hour workout taught by our Director of Training, Laurie Ann Bonus, with 16 years of experience in the fitness industry. Group Classes are Mondays at 11am, Monday evenings at 6:30pm, and a beginners class on Wednesdays at 10am.

Fit Over 60!
Fit over 60 Personal Training packages and classes are designed specifically with seniors in mind.  Build strength, improve cardiovascular fitness, increase flexibility, improve joint function, improve balance and reflexes to decrease falls, and increase bone density.

Note from the Director:
When I took the position as Director of Training for Cosmos Fitness, I saw an opportunity to correct all of the negative aspects of personal training that I had experienced while training for other gyms. Some of the things that I had experienced were non certified trainers, non injury certified trainers working with injury clients (which can be detrimental to their rehabilitation), clients who were intentionally not taught a program so as to be kept dependent on trainers. As well as clients who were simply taught a routine (a daily set of exercises which are repeated from week to week) so they would have to return to the trainer when they stopped seeing results (generally 8 to 12 weeks).

I also witnessed unprofessional trainers who spent more time talking about their lives then working their clients hard, and MOST IMPORTANTLY clients who could not remember even half of what they did with their trainer two weeks after going on their own.

This is unacceptable in our profession!!
Lets face it “a student is only as good as the teacher who teaches him.”
